Course

The 2025 Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships in South Limburg takes riders straight through the region’s distinctive rolling hills, over a varied mix of gravel sections, forest trails, country roads and punchy climbs.

The route features a loop of approximately 50 kilometres through Beek, Beekdaelen, Voerendaal, Meerssen and Valkenburg, passing iconic landmarks such as Wijnandsrade Castle, Vaeshartelt Estate and the Sint Hubertus Mill. The highlight and ultimate decider is the Bronsdalweg, a gravel climb of over one kilometre at an average gradient of 8%.

The spectacular finale runs along De Groene Loper into Maastricht, where the new world champion will be crowned

Distances per age category

The women’s and men’s elite will start first at 11 and 12 at noon. The age groups will leave every few minutes, so everyone will be gone within 20 minutes. The exact programme will be announced in the riders’ guide (early September). All riders will leave at this short notice to minimise inconvenience to the course towns, cities and major roads between Beek, Beekdaelen and Maastricht.
