Experience the 2025 Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships for yourself: ride the official course in the morning, then cheer on the world’s best riders in the afternoon.
On 11 and 12 October 2025, South Limburg will be the beating heart of the gravel world during the 2025 Bolero UCI Gravel World Championships. Especially for all gravel enthusiasts, the Ground of Gravel Ride will take place on the morning of Sunday 12 October: a unique recreational ride over sections of the official World Championships course. Registration opens today and will remain open until 11 October.
The Ground of Gravel Ride offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience: in the morning you will ride the gravel tracks and climbs in the Municipalities of Beek and Beekdaelen where, later that same day, the future men’s world champion will race for the title.
A gravel celebration for everyone
Everyone is welcome at the Ground of Gravel Ride. The route has been carefully designed with the riding experience in mind, showcasing the most beautiful South Limburg landscapes. After your ride, you will receive a unique medal and have the chance to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. At the VV Alfa Sport grounds, you can grab a bite or a drink from one of the food trucks or join in on various activities. And above all, you’ll soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the 2025 Gravel World Championships.
A gravel celebration for everyone
Everyone is welcome at the Ground of Gravel Ride. The Hartstichting is committed to preventing cardiovascular disease and enabling people to live longer, healthier lives. Participants can make a donation when registering or take action to raise funds for the Heart Foundation. Under the motto “ride for a healthy heart”, riders can create a personal fundraising page to be sponsored by friends and family. Proceeds will support research at Maastricht UMC+ in South Limburg into earlier detection and treatment of heart disease.
